SUPPORT ST CLARE'S GIRLS SCHOOL

Every child has a right to education but in Budaka, education has become scarce. Children within the age group 12-20 are walking an average distance of 5.4 km through bushes to access a school in a nearby community. As a result, children from these communities perform poorly in class or drop out of school.

St Clare's has been able to maintain high standards of education whilst aiming to keep access to the school affordable. This has meant that the school now requires support to upgrade its infrastructure facilities if it is able to continue to be one of the few spaces that truly focuses on girls education.

If you would like to provide support to the school please reach out to the Head of School, Charles Kisule.
